Cookies
To make using our website as straightforward as possible and to improve the service we offer you, we may use cookies as well as IP addresses.
Cookies are common on the Internet and do no harm to Your system. They are small, harmless numeric text files that web servers sometimes store on Your computer's hard drive when you visit a site. Cookies allow web servers to recognise you when you revisit a site so that Your details and settings are remembered. This helps you do things online by, for example, entering Your password and name every time you go to a site.
There are two main types of cookie:
1) Transient (or per-session) cookies - only last for the duration of Your visit to a site. They are used to recognise you as you move from page to page, for example, recording the items you add to an online shopping basket. They are deleted when you leave. Such cookies can also help maintain session integrity and security.
2) Persistent (or permanent) cookies - remain on Your machine until they expire or until they're deleted. Many will be built with an automatic deletion date, which helps ensure Your hard drive doesn't get filled up with cookies. Often this type of cookie is used to store and re-enter login information for you, so that you don't need to remember long membership numbers.
We may make use of both types of cookie in order to maximise the security of our services and to ensure that you always get an optimal service from our sites. We do not use cookies to track people's use of the Internet after leaving our web sites, nor do we store any information about you in cookies that others (including other sites) could read and understand. We will not sell or distribute information gathered by cookies without Your prior permission or consent of the user.
Services for which you'll need cookies enabled
From time to time, our website uses cookies as part of its normal service to display and store Your information in a secure environment and to prevent unauthorised access to Your account online.
It is a condition of service for our website that users accept cookies - without them we cannot ensure Your data is secure. Therefore we are unable to extend all the service to users who have selected to reject cookies. If you have chosen to reject cookies, you may be able to access the public area of our site, but you will not be able to login and access the secure areas of our site.
If you have selected not to use cookies, you may not be able to use or see all the functions of this site and We shall not be responsible for any errors, omissions or consequential losses that may result of Your decision.
